Hi, I’m Amber Nicole, the heart and hands behind this service. My journey into the world of web creation started in a rather unexpected place – the vibrant online community of NeoPets. It was there, experimenting with NeoHTML to customize messaging boards, that I first experienced the magic of bringing digital designs to life. That spark ignited a passion that has stayed with me ever since.
Even in middle school, that creative drive led me to build my very first website for a duct tape design business (a venture that, while short-lived, taught me invaluable lessons!). Later, the social media landscape of MySpace became my playground, where I honed my skills crafting custom profiles for friends. I loved the process of understanding their personalities and translating them into unique online spaces through simple code.
While my academic path led me through the rigorous world of engineering – earning undergraduate and master’s degrees in electrical and computational data science (with a focus on systems engineering), and even becoming a licensed Professional Engineer – my creative spirit always remained.
In 2013, I embraced my artistic side more fully, launching my first website on Blogger under the name “Clearly Alive” – a space born from my experience living with adrenal insufficiency. This eventually led me to the more robust platform of WordPress in 2018, with the help of a fellow freelancer. In early 2020, that same collaboration helped bring my second website, “The Cortisol Pump,” to life. Managing these two sites has been an ongoing journey of learning and growth.
A pivotal moment came in 2024 when I joined an artist incubator and non-profit. Taking on the challenge of a complete website rebuild on WordPress, I realized the depth of my skills and the genuine joy I found in empowering others online.
Now, I’m excited to expand the “Clearly Alive” brand beyond my personal art and advocacy. I believe everyone deserves a voice and a platform to share their passions with the world.
